Vacation Tradition

Posted on Monday, April 19th, 2010 at 10:40 pm

One of our new vacation traditions is to find a baby outfit from the place we are visiting. We enjoy looking at all the baby clothes, and look forward to seeing our baby wear them someday. When we were in Boston, we found a Boston Red Sox outfit and while we were in Hawaii, we found a cute Hawaiian dress. Now we’re ready for a boy or a girl!

What a great idea! You guys have great taste. Hey – you two could have your next vacation in Logan and we could hook you up with an awesome USU onesie! I know, I know… it would never be worn – but hey, a girl’s gotta try!

We should do that…I’m okay with the USU onesie– it just couldn’t be the U! :) Although that’s probably the first thing Steve will want to get! I’ll have to find a BYU one first! Haha!

That is such a great idea! I love that little dress! Girl clothes are so dang adorable!

Were you doing that when you came to Portland? Too bad, I would have grabbed you a onesie from school that says, “well adjusted.” You see…. you see what I did there…?

  5. Steve and Amy says:

No, we hadn’t started the traditional back then. That would have been a cool shirt though : )

Hi! I stumbled on your blog through a friend, and I have to tell ya. My husband and I have the same BYU/U war going in our house (only I’m the U fan), and I have to wish you luck. When you drill our kids on their colors, you get “pink, yellow, orange, green, BYU blue, U of U red,…”

Our battle has turned into our kids’ war.

Good luck on your adoption! You seem like wonderful people.
