This last weekend we picked up our new puppy, Maggie.  She is a Puggle, which is a mix of a beagle and a pug.  We both think that she is the cutest dog ever!  We have been having a lot of fun with her.  Having a puppy has added a bit of work, but a lot of fun too! 

We also scheduled a puppy play date with my sister and her dog Ellie. They bought a dog just a few weeks ago, and after dog sitting her for a weekend, we were sure we needed a dog too!

As you can see, it took quite a few pictures to get both puppies together and looking at the camera! Poor Steve was trying to watch the BYU-Utah football game, and we just wanted pictures! He was such a good sport!

Recently Steve and I decided that we needed to start planning a weekly date night.  We realized that as the weekend came around, we would be too tired to plan anything to do for a date night.  We just ended up doing something that was easy–fast food and a movie or something like that.  Now each Monday night we plan a time and a date for our date night.  It has been so much fun!  This week we wanted to learn how to cook something new.  We decided to make Rachel Ray’s Sticky Orange Chicken.   We had a great time making it!  Of course it didn’t turn out exactly like Rachel Ray’s, but it still tasted great! 

We’re looking forward to many more date nights!!  If anyone has any good (cheap) date ideas…let us know!
