1. Eat a delicious dinner! I’m not sure why, but Sunday dinner has to be better than just a regular weekday dinner.
2. Play Board Games
3. Sleep in–unless you have 9:00 church like we do or 7:00 meetings like Steve
4. Read a book
5. Sunday Naps–the kind where you sleep so long, you aren’t tired at night!
6. Play a family game of croquet–even though I have yet to win a game (and I even have resorted to cheating).
7. Extended Family Dinners
8. Play with the nursery kids at church! They are hilarious! There is never a dull moment in nursery. (Today one of the boys was pretending to be a dog and licked my leg).
9. Go to church
10. Eat Chocolate! For some reason, I always seem to crave chocolate more on Sundays.

We are really excited! We found this great site
Spaces for Faces to order some Adoption Pass Along Cards. They should arrive in just a few weeks. Hopefully the cards will give us one more way to spread the word about our desire to adopt.

Now how to use the cards???
Recently I have been reading a fabulous adoption blog The R House. In this blog, Mrs. R has some great ideas for using a pass along card:
*Give them to a friend. Even if you don’t know someone who is wanting to place a baby for adoption, they might.
*If you have a conversation with a someone about adoption, share our card with them.
*Give a card to bishops or Relief Society Presidents
* you can slip one into every bill you mail out.
*you can leave one with every check at restaurants
* you can mail them out with your holiday cards. (do you only send out Christmas cards? consider Valentines, Independence Day, St. Patty’s Day cards as well.)
*leave them on community bulletin boards at cafes, restaurants, laundromat, apartment complexes, car washes, etc. i know Jamba Juice, Macey’s grocery stores, and supersonic car wash has them at most locations. where else? have you seen any in your area?
*drop one in the “win a free lunch” drawings at restaurants.
If you think that you can give away some of our cards, please let us know. Sometimes a friend of a friend of a friend knows someone considering adoption, so even if you don’t know someone directly, the people you know might know someone. We’d be glad to send you as many as you think you could could use!
Thank you in advance for helping us spread the word! We are so excited about adoption, and have become strong supporters. We hope it won’t be much longer before our adoption miracle comes!!

Last weekend, I did a 5K, Race for the Cure, with my mom and my sisters. It was a neat experience to be part of this race. Two years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, so it was a good opportunity to celebrate her strength through a difficult trial. My mom is amazing!! Our family is so lucky to have her! It was sad to see those who had loved ones that had passed away from breast cancer.
When we signed up to do the race, I had no idea what a huge event it was going to be. There were so many people participating. We got there early enough to be towards the front and you could look back and see thousands and thousands of people behind you. There were so many people that when the race started, you couldn’t hardly move. There was about 18,000 people participating in the race! The night before the race, Steve was teasing me, “just don’t come in last.” Well, we definately weren’t first, but I would say there was around 10,000 people behind us–so we weren’t last!!
We had so much fun that we decided it should be a tradition!

Thanks to my brother-in-law for the photos! He was nice enough to come around with us all morning to be our photographer!

We recently decided that we needed to do a fun getaway, so this summer we will be heading on a cruise to the Bahamas! We are really excited! We haven’t ever been on a cruise, so it should be a fun adventure!
