It's too cold!!!
Posted on Thursday, January 17th, 2008 at 7:35 pmI know I shouldn’t complain because I am in a classroom all day and I drive to work, so I don’t have to walk anywhere….but it is too cold!!! I’ve been feeling like I never really warm up! The biggest problem is that it has been indoor recess all week, because of the weather. Indoor recess is a difficult situation for both the teacher and the student!! The kids get pretty hyper, because they don’t get a chance to burn up some energy at recess. It also makes the day very difficult, when you don’t get a break from your kids (or even a bathroom break for yourself!) I was hoping that the cold weather would be ending soon, but my principal warned us the weather forecasts say it could stay this cold until the middle of next week!!! Yikes!!! Let’s hope they are wrong!!
Yeah, Jimmy told me that they had an indoor recess because of the cold. They still have them go out for the most part though. But if they aren’t dressed warm enough, they won’t let them go out.
Yeah you should try living in logan!! It’s like antartica here!! I have to walk up to campus most of the time!! Indoor recess is dumb though..I remember those days..
It’s true–Logan is a LOT worse, I don’t think I could handle it there! I’d probably freeze to death!
