Steve and I had a great time watching the BYU-Utah Game today!! He did a few little cheers when Utah scored, but the end result….BYU wins!!! The score was 17-10! Steve and I had a friendly little wager on the game, so now he has to plan out a fun date for us!!! Way to go BYU!!!

Island Park Vacation

This weekend Steve and I had a fun vacation. We drove up to Island Park and stayed in a cabin with some of Steve’s friends from high school and their families. It was a fun vacation! The best part is that it was a very relaxing vacation! We played lots of games, watched movies, talked, and of course ate a ton! Here are a few of the fun pics from our trip!

Believe it or not this is an intense game of tennis! This weekend we were introduced to the Wii. It was so much fun and a good workout! We would love one!!

We also did a karaoke game on the X Box. You had to sing along to the song and it rated you on how close you were singing to the tune! Steve did pretty well (even including a few dance moves), unfortunately on one of my songs I got booed off the stage (by the fans on the video game)!! If you do really bad, the program doesn’t even let you finish the song! I guess those voice lessons didn’t pay off too much! Luckily I did improve, so the next time I actually finished my song.

We also played this game called pause, freeze. For this game two people start acting out a scenario. At anytime another person can call “pause, freeze” The players pause and then you pick one of the people to go in for. You then use this position to create a new scenario. It ends up being a pretty crazy game, so is a random picture from that game.

And here are a few cute pictures of Steve and I! Thanks to Holly and Andy for being great photographers! Otherwise we wouldn’t have any pictures of the weekend!!

So we had a great weekend! Vacations are the best!!

Happy Halloween!

I just thought I would post about our Halloween because it was so fun to watch Steve. I had no idea that he loved Halloween so much. About a month ago Steve started planning our Halloween. He started buying our candy for Halloween. He carefully selected the candy so it would be some of the “good” candy. I thought he bought WAY too much! (But to his credit he bought just the right amount!) Then came Halloween night. When I came home from work, the candy was all placed nicely in the bowl ready to go for the trick-or-treaters. Now, usually you can find Steve downstairs in his computer room, but at about 5:30, he came upstairs with his laptop and sat in the living room—all ready to answer the door. He stayed up there the whole time, and would call me up from downstairs when it was someone we knew. I loved to watch him after he answered the door because he had the cutest smile on his face–he was just so excited to pass out all the candy. Luckily we had enough trick-or-treaters. I was a little bit worried that I would have to go out and recruit people to come to our house!! :) Anyway…it was a great night. We ended it off by watching “Poltergeist.” If you’ve haven’t sen this movie, it is a VERY old horror film! So the effects are more humorous than scary! All in all it was a great Halloween!!
