We’re are excited to announce that Steve has found a new job! He will be working as a Software Developer for the church. He had another offer that was pretty competitive, but in the end we decided the church will be the best option for us. It sounds like he will be starting on the 29th, which gives him next week off to study and get ready for this new job!

Although I am really glad that Steve found a new job, it has been fun to have him at home a little more. A couple of days ago, he was able to come to my school, have lunch with me, and teach a game to my class. They were really excited to have him there. I was excited to have him there too.

Updates on us!

I haven’t updated in our blog for awhile, because we haven’t done anything really exciting. (I think summer is the best time for a blog). Anyway, here’s what we’ve been doing. Steve is halfway through this semester, and then he only has ONE more semester left!!! Yeah!!!! His next semester shouldn’t be as busy, because he only has a couple of classes left (his senior project and a math/science elective). Lately Steve has been looking for a new job. The company he works for right now is unfortunately going out of business. He has had quite a few interviews these last few weeks and he’s already received one offer. We’re kind of waiting to see what happens with the other jobs before he decides which offer to take. We’ll keep you posted when Steve accepts an offer.

As for me….I don’t have much to report! Just teaching school! This week is parent teacher conferences, so it means late nights for me! But only four more weeks and then I am off track. Not like I am counting or anything! I’m getting ready for a break, and I’m already starting to make a list of things I want to do while I am off track!

Last week my family had our annual fall picnic. We usually go up to the mountains, have a picnic, look at the fall leaves, and take a family photo. This year is has been really rainy, so we had to settle for a quick trip to the park for some photos and then head to my parent’s house for the picnic part. So here’s some of our fun family photos!!
