		<description>Yeah, it would have been nice if they emptied the pool last fall, but I don&#039;t think the algae problem actually started until this spring.  We found out that we needed to chlorinate it earlier than we did, so the algae was probably our fault.  We are planning on draining every fall anyway though, because we don&#039;t want to worry about the water expanding and possibly breaking the pool liner.  That would be horrible if we flooded all our neighbors basements.</description>

		<description>Since you first said that the only way to get rid of the algae problem, I have had a burning question.  Wouldn&#039;t it have been better to just drain it last fall and not have all of the worries that you have had?  If that is the case, then wouldn&#039;t the previous owners know that?  So my question is, why would they have ever told you not to worry about draining it?  I know there is no real answer, but I felt the question should be written out loud.</description>
