Spring!?!?!
Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »It has been really nice weather this week! It is great, because it feels like Spring has finally come. Now we have to enter a new territory of owning a house….yardwork. I am excited to experiment and try our first garden. (We’ll see if I am still excited when I am actually weeding it and taking care of it–I never liked it when I was growing up)! We are also going to have to do a bit of fixing the yard up. The previous owners just planted about 10 trees in the front yard, so we are going to uproot some of them. We already have some nice full-grown trees in the front yard, and we don’t want to live it a forest! This picture shows some of the full grown trees…and then just imagine a few more trees that you can’t see!
We have also officially been welcomed to the neighborhood. Two of the girls from our cul-de-sac brought over a welcome card, a flower they had picked from someone’s yard, and a bracelet for me. Then they asked me if I was living with my boyfriend, my fiancee, or my husband. They were really cute girls! We are looking forward to getting to know our neighbors better, especially now that it is nice weather and we’ll be outside more!
