Steve & Amy – Hoping to Adopt

Today my vacation officially ended. I am back on track, so I went back to school today. Other than waking up early again, it actually wasn’t too bad to be back. The kids are always a little bit ready to come back, and then they are excited by the little things. For example, I changed the seating arrangement and I did smaller groups, and you would have thought I had given them candy. They thought it was so much fun! That is why I teach elementary school–after they grow up, they aren’t nearly as easy to please!

As I was going through some of our pictures, I found some of Steve and I with our lovely nieces Sadie and Maddie. Note how happy they look with Steve! Just teasing Steve! Haha!!

I decided that I would begin a blog to keep everyone updated on what we are doing! This is our temporary website, until Steve actually has time to do our own website! Steve and I have been married for a little over a year now. We just moved into our first house in November. We are enjoying having a house! We’ve had fun decorating, and doing a little painting! We’re pretty lucky that our house doesn’t really need any huge home improvement projects. I am still teaching fourth grade, and Steve is working as web developer for a place called Evolution Card. He is getting closer to graduation, which we are both really looking forward to. He is planning on graduating in May 2008, which is just a little over a year away! That’s the update on our life up to this point! I’m including a few pictures to show some fun stuff we’ve done this year.
